Next summer a bike share is coming to New York City! Apparently it will be the same company that runs the bike share in Washington DC and many details are still in the negotiation phase – including where the said bike stations will be located and how much exactly it will cost. I’ve heard an annual unlimited pass could be as low as $100 per year – that’s what most folks spend each month for the trains!
Of course, since bikers are plentiful in Central and Lower Manhattan, there’s sure to be a plethora of bike stations downtown. But what about uptowners? Vote online to share your peace on where you think a station should go and share a tweet-sized explanation why – democracy and technology at its best. Although the last Community Board I went to, there was free juice and cookies. No cookies jump out of the screen after you click “submit” on this site. Although we could always call and ask.
